Welcome to The Ambassadors Bible Fellowship

Ambassadors Bible Fellowship is a non-denominational Evangelical, Charismatic Christian ministry. It was officially inaugurated as a fellowship on the 26th of February 2005, in Durban, South Africa. 

The fellowship follows the early church model and therefore meets in private residences of believers in and around Durban. Over the years, this multi-racial, multi-cultural, multi-generational ministry has served and continues to serve believers from various parts of the world besides South Africa through its evangelistic and mission engagements. Preaching and teaching God’s word has remained the main thrust of the fellowship.

 

Ambassadors Bible Fellowship is a socially conscious Christian association which upholds the philosophy of human dignity and excellence. It engages in promoting and staging events whose impact have reached to the depths of the South African society and brought Christ to the doorsteps of the people. In 2006, the fellowship instituted an educational scholarship scheme, known as Ambassador Aid, to finance the education of selected needy students educational needs. This scheme is part of the vision of the fellowship in helping financially needy students realize their life dreams.

Statement of Faith

  • We believe…..the Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative written Word of God. We believe…..the is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe.….n the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to receive to Himself His blood-bought church, who will reign with Him forever.
  • We believe…..the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ, water baptism being a physical sign of this cleansing.
  • We believe…..regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
  • We believe…..the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to the prayer of faith.
  • We believe…..the baptism in the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it.
  • We believe…..in the sanctifying power of the indwelling Holy Spirit to enable the Christian to live a godly life.
  • We believe…..in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation
